What is techology?
Technology is the use of mechanical devices to enhance day to day learning while making life much more enjoyable and easier.
What is your experience in technolgy?
Alphonso: Quite limited
Labrisca: I pretty much make use the computers for research and students work.
How would you promote technolgy within the classroom?
Alphonso: Techology can be use to introduce topics via powerpoints presentation, manipulating tools such as calculators, making use of the cell phones to send texts.
Labrisca: Technolgy can be promoted by recording role plays, dramatization with camcorders, cell phones etc.
What are the children's reaction of the use of technology in the classroom?
Alphonso: they would be quite enthusiastic since they can actually manipulate tools and see real life pictures in living clours.
Labrisca: In agreement with the comment above, in addition to them being ethused it also grab their attention because it is something advance and different as oppose the norm.
Can technology promote learning?
Alphoso: Yes, since ot bring a new demension to learning/teaching experience.
Labrisca: Techology can promote learning because you are catering for all the varied learning styles and intelligences. It is more interactive, children are at an advange when they are actively involved, hence promoting learning.
